La Señorial Trujillo
Trujillo is the largest city in the Peruvian North and the birthplace of marinera norteña, a traditional Peruvian dance. Near Trujillo, the great wall of Chan Chan surrounds the oldest and largest adobe city in the world, which was the capital of the Chimú Kingdom until it was incorporated into the Inca Empire. Chan Chan is between the cities of Trujillo and Huanchaco Beach which is known as the birthplace of caballitos de totora: The world’s first surfboards.
